This Murasaki Shino choko (cup) is created by Japanese ceramic artist Emiko Takigawa.

The soft white Shino glaze reveals gentle purple tones and natural reddish firing marks beneath the surface, creating the warm and subtle scenery characteristic of Shino ware.
Its simple cylindrical form is complemented by naturally flowing glaze patterns and iron accents.

Comfortable to hold, the cup can be used for sake, tea, or small servings.
